A Day to Celebrate!

Happy Love Our Lurkers Day, everyone! And Happy M's Birthday! (Two reasons to celebrate!)

My little blog hasn't been going long, but the stat counter suggests there might be one or two people who come by to read without commenting. All readers are welcome, with or without comments, but I admit that I am terribly, terribly curious about who is out there. Are you all people I know? Are you people I have never met? Are you bloggers or non-bloggers? Into discipline, sensual, sexual, romantic, or other kinds of spankings? Totally vanilla and just browsing to get a glimpse of a different world?

So please feel free to leave a comment. A wave is just fine. A smart remark or witty retort would be wonderful. And if you don't want to leave your name, that's just fine. On the other hand, if you want to tell me a bit about yourself, please do!

And if you want to leave a message but don't know what to say, leave birthday greetings for M. :-)

Hey there! I found you through Chris and Sparkle, and I've read every post so far. Keep up the great work! :)

I stumbled here from sparkle's blog, and pop in now and again to see what's new. So far it looks good to me. I generally lurk only, although have been leaving the odd comment here and there today.

I lurk on everyone's blog since meeting everyone in Vegas. I was quiet there, why should I be any different with postings??? :-)

I love the blog thing. Makes me feel like I'm keeping up with people and still connected. I suppose it makes me a really creepy friend, though, because they don't know I'm doing it! LOL

By the way, Happy Birthday, M! I've seen you in action (he's much meaner than he looks), so I won't be making any smartass comments to that. Of course, I'm sure Iris will be all over that...

Hi Iris! Happy Birthday, M! I've been lurking on The Punishment Book for a while, though I recently started commenting. I found your blog right after Chris posted on his blog about it!

I'm definitely a spanko, and I've been wanting to start my own blog, but unfortunately I'm just not very interesting...

My husband and I have been talking about going to a Shadowlane party, so I hope to be able to meet you and M there someday!

Hi Iris, I am enjoying your new blog and checking in often! Sara

Tracy, it's lovely to meet you too. Thanks for being the first to de-lurk!

Anonymous, I'm glad you chose this blog to comment on. Welcome!

Aurora, you're right on all counts (about M being meaner than he looks and me having smart remarks about that, etc), but I'd love to hear you speak up more. We didn't get much of a chance to chat in Vegas, so we'll have to get to know each other better here!

Hi Rose! I'm not sure that being interesting is a necessary qualification for having a blog--if you have thoughts or questions or ramblings, it's a good way to get them out there. And I'll really hope to have a chance to meet you and your husband at the next party!

Sara, thanks for checking in! I'm trying to be better about updating more often, so you'll have something to read when you do come.

Hi Iris,

I read a lot and comment a little. That probably doesn't qualify me as a lurker, but I wanted to stop by and say hello.

Thank you for being a part of our LOL celebration.

Hugs,
Bonnie

Well, I'm not one for either smart remarks or witty retorts, so I'll just send you a wave.

(Gee, I hope that came out)

Thanks for the blog, Iris. (Okay, do you know how hard it is to write your name without the "H" at the end of it?? I had to backspace three times!)

But back to what I was saying ... I enjoy your blog very much, and hit on it at least a couple of times a week to see if there's been updates. Thanks for taking time to share the pieces of your lives you let us glimpse.

And M, happy birthday! You are the nicest man, and a wicked strap wielder, to boot.

I missed on Friday, early day at work, then the Alley Theatre in the evening for Arsnic and Old Lace! But I do read you when I can. I drifted here from Sparkle's blog and enjoy it a lot.

A wave to Iris!
And a Crimson Moon party in 1 week.
It doesn't get any better than this....
