As promised. . .

I'm just dropping in for a minute to put up the lines I said I would/was forced to post. M had a family reunion all last week (we went there straight from Shadow Lane) and we are in the process of moving to a new apartment now. Updates might be less frequent than I'd like, but I'll do my best.

Oh, and thank you to everyone who has posted such lovely comments!

Well done, Iris!
And I think you came up with a very good sentence to copy, as well.

I could never have done that! I hope I never get told to write lines. It would drive me insane. Good job for doing it though!

I agree. It covers a multitude of situations without really giving away anything...

In fact, I may hijack it for use with a teenager that stays with me from time to time. There are times when I need something in the way of discipline that I can use and not have to report to his mom! This fits the bill. So even your punishment is helping someone else!

Very nice job.

I wish I could take credit for the line, but sparkle actually thought of it for me. And I *am* the one who wrote it out 200 times!

(Hi there, found you via Chris and Sparkle, been lurking for a bit.)

Two hundred times! Eep. So far (fingers crossed) the most lines I've been given in one sitting is 100 and I found that deadly enough. Kudos to Sparkle for thinking of a relatively short sentence for you :-)

100 was the most I'd had to write until this point too! And yes, I am much indebted to sparkle for coming up with such a . . . succinct line for me to copy. :-D

Might I point out though that my wife thought up a line that was actually three words longer than the minimum. Though, to be honest, I'd originally planned a 10-word minimum, but Sparkle talked me down to 6 words.

Some have suggested posting the last page as well as the first to compare the neatness of your handwriting from beginning to end, however, I'm hard pressed to see any difference at the end.

Good job.
